We interviewed Mr. Ider S., the CEO of "Concept," a strategic marketing firm and the organizer of the annual Hurungutun forum held every August.
Journalist: Who are the Hurungutuns?
Mr. Ider S.: Hurungutun refers to individuals or groups with the authority to influence wealth distribution in society through investments in high-yield, innovation-driven projects that create jobs and boost the economy. The decisions made by Hurungutuns can shape the market, directly impacting commodity prices, wages, and business revenues. Essentially, Hurungutun embodies the economy.
Journalist: Why do you organize the "Hurungutun" forum?
Mr. Ider S.: Mongolian Hurungutuns need to enhance their knowledge and wealth capacity. Therefore, there is a need for a structured system where Hurungutuns collaborate with ethical, top experts, scholars, and professional associations—not amateurs. Each year, the Hurungutun forum provides a controlled environment where Hurungutuns can make strategic, long-term decisions and engage in top projects of the year through the OTC market.
Journalist: What is on the agenda for Hurungutun 2024?
Mr. Ider S.: The agenda includes discussions on economic forecasts, projects, and innovations. Our economic team has initiated macro-economic analyses, and the registration and selection process for 300 Hurungutuns and projects commences today. We firmly believe that the forum will facilitate crucial strategic decisions that will shape Mongolia's social and economic development.
